Common side effects of Botox
Some of the side effects of Botox include:
- Puffy eyes

Most of these side effects require no medication or treatment and are self-limiting.
Eyebrow droop after Botox
When inexperienced Botox practitioners try to smooth all the forehead lines with Botox and can’t comprehend why those lines are there to begin with, they inadvertently cause the eyebrows to collapse into the eyelid space and make those lids look very heavy. When we see forehead lines, we treat the cause of those lines and not the effect. We treat the eyebrow muscle depressors and this can cause the brows to raise-up. Then and only then do we proceed to treat the forehead lines very carefully.
Eyebrow droop is a temporary weakness which can occur in eyelids or eyebrows, which may droop temporarily if the injected medicine moves into other areas. The droopy eyebrow will typically go away in four to six weeks.
Apart from waiting it out, further Botox can counteract a relaxed eyebrow muscle if injected in the right place. Sometimes, you just have to let it wear off.
Facial drooping after Botox
Botox used in the lower face requires exquisite knowledge of the anatomy and is only recommended for experts. The spread of the Botox from the intended muscle into neighbouring areas can encounter problems moving the lips and mouth. Puffy eyes after botox
Another side effect of Botox is puffiness under eyes. You are advised to leave the eyes alone for a few days until the swelling and itchiness subsides and this should settle on its own.
